The 454D4 is designed and custom built from the ground-up with our unique Multi-Structure Monocoque (MSM) body utilizing stainless steel and aircraft-grade aluminum. The overall coach height can range from our standard 12'9" plan to the optional 13'1" or 13'6" body. Designed with up to four slide-outs, the 454D can provide over 730 s.f. of living area in the coach and up to 400 s.f. of living and garage area in our optional 252D2 Double-Decker Trailer. The upper deck area of our "Entertainers Dream" floor plan can accommodate up to 20 guests with 20 luxury leather seats, all with 3-point seat belt restraints, a forward lounge, full galley, rear theater lounge, 3/4 bath, 1/2 guest bath and a private sleeping area for up to 7 adults. Additional floor plans include: RV, Executive, Corporate, Medical, Homeland Security and more... Your coach will be designed and custom built to meet your specific project requirements.

Why does the 454D have a DFSS Dual Front Steer System
There are many solid reasons for the dual front steer design, but the most important reason is safety. The DFSS provides us with the ability to balance the front-rear weight distribution ratio, to better distribute reaction forces in the suspension...overloading that occurs on single front axle coaches is not possible with this configuration. Most single front steer custom coaches are at the weight limits of their front axle and in many cases have exceeded the safety barrier of their front tire specifications. With the advent of slide-outs and other special custom features, the excessive weight of the interior build-outs has increased without addressing the overloaded front axle and steer tires. Our 454D design addresses this condition with a simple and practical solution: DFSS Dual Front Steer System. There are many benefits gained from this design, but once again, safety is the most important factor. In a high speed situation where one of your front steer tires has a blow-out, the DFSS allows you to continue to maintain control with the additional in-line tire. Our DFSS has twice the brake surface area and double the front braking power. This means less chance for overheating and brake failure. Our DFSS also lowers the risk of hydroplaning as a result of the second set of trailing tires which ride on a wiped road surface created by the lead tires. This insures better road handling and control even on wet surfaces. Directional stability is also greatly improved, even over potholes and other road hazards, since there is always an unsprung wheel on solid ground. This provides for improved grip on most bad road situations. Four independent suspensions (IFS) are engineered into the DFSS for unmatched superior ride comfort, handling and most importantly safety...add that to the 454D's lowest center of gravity (CG) in the industry, combined with a ZF engineered (CDC) Continuous Damping Control system with active electronic risk management along with an 8-channel ABS system and you have one of the largest and safest custom coaches ever designed.
